It’s hard to believe that this little guy used to be this little baby! He’s growing up fast and he’s on the move. I was so excited to go to my hometown for the weekend to photograph and hang out with Mr. and Mrs. Hokie (and baby Hokie).

As a professional photographer its incredibly important to me not to forget to capture my everyday life. Don’t get me wrong, there is a side of my brain that never stops taking pictures. I see them EVERYWHERE and try to capture the most I can. But there are times when I get so focused on work, bookings, editing etc, that I forget to take a breath and look around me.
In the post The St. Clairs I mentioned that I was in Lexington, Va to see my new niece and nephew! So the time has finally come to show these two cuties off. I was in Lexington for several days and while I was there it was my goal to not only get some pictures of these new babies in my life, but also just photograph the surrounding area.
You may remember our friends Mr. and Mrs. Hokie. Several months ago we found out they were having a baby hokie and since then it’s been a whirlwind of baby shower, talking about the baby, meeting baby hokie for the first time, and then finally a “Look who’s 3 months old,” photo shoot. Silas is a beautiful, happy baby Boy. See for yourself!
