Lemonade stands, bubbles, and sprinklers–what could remind you more of those dog days of summer? As many of you know I had been dying all summer to do a “sprinkler” session with some willing little person. Miss Lily volunteered! I fell so in love with this session. Everything from the bubbles in the air to Lily’s wet hair to her sweet smile just warm my heart. I hope it will yours too.
I’m not going to lie, I’ve been wanting to photograph this kid since before he was born. When I found out Heather was pregnant, I knew this kid was going to be sweet and adorable, just like his parents. So as soon as Brennan came into the world, we booked a session for when he was about 6 months old.
Meet Baby Anora! This cutie absolutely stole my heart. She is a content little girl full of beautiful, goofy, and happy expressions. Photographers dream right? We had a beautiful day in October for this shoot. The leaves had fully changed, it was brisk but not freezing, and the light was wonderful.
When I was taking a short vacation to my hometown of Lexington, VA to visit my new Niece and Nephew (more on that later!) I had the pleasure of taking some family portraits for my long time friends the St. Clairs. I was especially thrilled to get to take some photos of their daughter, Addison right before her 1st birthday. It’s such a special time and we had a blast.
Back in November, I had a very special date with a handsome young man. This little guy above. Adorable right? I was honored to be present when he came into the world, see Meeting Orion, Part I and Meeting Orion, Part II for more on that story. This time around though, our meeting was a little more, shall we say causal?
